Community Art Displays – Ongoing
To encourage our young and emerging artists and provide them with exposure, the Arts Council arranges exhibits at business locations throughout Surrey. Displays are put up in the offices of Surrey MLAs and MPs, the Surrey Board of Trade, Surrey Tourism Association, the Arts Council of Surrey Office and other Surrey businesses. To participate, call 604-585-2787.
Newsletter - Spotlight on the Arts
This colourful publication goes out 10 times a year and is distributed to Arts Council members and member groups, schools libraries, recreation centers, local politicians, seniors’ centres and it is also handed out at many community events.
Community Activities and Events
Newton Days, Whalley Days, Canada Day, multicultural festivals, awards events, holiday celebrations and other events bring lots of people together - children, women, men of all ages and cultures. As they celebrate their neighbourhoods, their cultures and their country the Arts Council of Surrey sets up displays, provides entertainment, answers questions, distributes information, and provides interactive opportunities.
